A lot has happened the last few months of my life and it's been happening fast! I finished out the semester in early May and made The Deans List. Woohoo! I opened for Jay Leno which was an incredible experience! I cannot even begin to explain how amazing it felt to play at The Crystal Grande Theater and to meet Mr. Leno himself. He was very kind and his stand-up performance was hilarious!
Soon after that came Brat Fest where we shared the stage with the one and only Bucky Badger while he killed it on the air guitar. My friend Rip released his new record "Trinity" which featured a collab track called "Take Me To Your Garden" and we performed it together following our set at Brat Fest.
This last weekend, Madison hosted it's very first "Between The Waves" music festival and conference where I met and hung with so many other amazing like minded musicians and industry professionals. I performed for Chick Singer Night and again with Rip at The Majestic Theater. It was a blast!
The band and I are headed to Chicago next weekend and I've got all sorts of awesome shows booked this summer including a return trip to Nashville. Phew!
I've been meeting so many incredible people lately, new friends, artists, photographers, fans and I just feel really happy!
We'd love to see you out and about and about this summer if you can make it to a show.
On a side note: To anyone who is in the Chicago area or who know people in the area, we could use your help pushing our show coming up on June 30th at Uncommon Ground.
